The Wildlife XP 10x44 is designed around seeing natural colour and fine detail without narrowing your view more than necessary. Steiner's Ultra-HD optical system uses fluoride glass alongside a phase-corrected roof-prism system, giving these binoculars the optical performance the Wildlife XP range was built around. With 10x magnification and a 112 m field of view at 1000 m, you get useful reach for distant subjects while retaining a broad view for finding and following wildlife.
Focus Quickly as the Distance Changes
Steiner's Fast-Close-Focus system lets you move between viewing distances with the central focusing wheel and works down to approximately 2 m. The Distance-Control-System adds a distance scale to the focusing setup, allowing you to preset an estimated viewing distance and then make only the fine adjustment once the binoculars are at your eyes.
Individual Precision Setting adjustments for the left and right eyepieces let you account for differences between your eyes. ComfortGrip thumb pads and NBR Longlife rubber armouring shape the binoculars for extended handheld observation, while nitrogen pressure filling prevents internal fogging and the housing is rated for submersion to 5 m.
