Clear Detail Across the View
The Diamondback HD 10x42 is built around Vortex's HD optical system, using selected glass elements to improve resolution, reduce chromatic aberration and maintain colour fidelity and edge-to-edge sharpness. Fully multi-coated lens surfaces increase light transmission, while dielectric prism coatings and phase correction support a bright, clear view with strong contrast.
The 10x magnification brings distant subjects closer, while the 109.6 m field of view at 1000 m gives you plenty of viewing area for scanning terrain or following wildlife. Close focus reaches 1.52 m when the subject is much nearer.
Practical Field Handling
The true open-hinge design reduces weight and bulk, while rubber armour provides a non-slip grip and external protection around the binocular body. Twist-up eyecups adjust for viewing with or without glasses, and the centre focus wheel controls both barrels together.
Argon gas purging and O-ring sealing provide waterproof and fogproof protection, while ArmorTek protects the exterior lens surfaces from scratches, oil and dirt. The binoculars are also tripod adaptable for use with a compatible tripod adapter or car window mount.
