The large 56 mm objectives work with Steiner's High Definition optical system and advanced lens coatings, which are designed to increase light transmission and produce bright, crisp images. Steiner also makes the HX 15x56 tripod mountable, giving you the option of a steadier view during longer glassing sessions.

Fast Focus and Field Protection

Fast-Close-Focus uses a central focusing wheel that requires minimal rotation to move between viewing distances, while the ergonomic eyecups help shield your eyes from sidelight and drafts. Steiner Nano-Protection adds a hydrophobic coating to the exposed lens surfaces, helping water sheet off while repelling dirt, dust, snow and fingerprints.

The Makrolon polycarbonate housing is wrapped in NBR Long Life rubber armouring and is rated to withstand 11 Gs of impact. The binoculars are nitrogen-filled for fogproof clarity and waterproof for submersion to approximately 3 m.
