Trailmate Insulux R-Value 5 Sleeping Mat with Pillow | Olive

The Trailmate Insulux is an insulated sleeping mat intended for cooler nights and shoulder-season camping. Its R-Value 5 insulation combines Thermolite polyester with a reflective aluminium film to help reduce heat loss towards the ground.

At 190 cm long, 55 cm wide and 7.5 cm thick, the mat provides a full-length sleeping surface with a built-in pillow. The outer surface uses 40D nylon TPU ripstop material, while the mat packs down to 120 mm x 340 mm and weighs 759 g without the pump sack.

The included pump sack connects to the inflation valve, allowing the mat to be filled without blowing directly into it. Fill the sack with air from approximately 30 cm away, then roll it down to transfer the air into the mat. The supplier estimates three to four pump-sack fills for full inflation. A deflation control allows the firmness to be fine-tuned, and basic repair patches are also supplied.
