Observe and range through the same binoculars
The Geovid R 10x42 combines Leica binocular optics and laser rangefinding, so you can stay on the view while checking distance rather than changing between separate devices. Its 10x magnification and 42 mm objective lenses are paired with a 110 m field of view at 1,000 m, HDC multilayer-coated lenses and a modified Uppendahl prism system.
Fast distance readings with EHR
Rangefinding works from 10 m to approximately 1,800 m, with both single-measurement and scan modes and a maximum measuring time of 0.3 seconds. For angled measurements, EHR provides the equivalent horizontal distance from 10 m to approximately 1,100 m. The Geovid R does not provide a separate ballistic solution or onboard wind correction, keeping its ranging system focused on distance and EHR information.
Set up for extended observation
The aluminium housing is nitrogen-filled and watertight to a depth of 5 m. Four-position rotary eyecups, 14.5 mm eye relief and a 56-74 mm interpupillary adjustment allow the binoculars to be set up around the user, while the four-digit LED range display automatically adjusts its brightness. A CR2 battery powers the rangefinder for approximately 2,000 measurements at 20 C.
Key Features
- Range without changing optics: The integrated laser rangefinder measures from 10 m to approximately 1,800 m while you remain on the binocular view.
- Equivalent Horizontal Range: EHR provides the horizontal component of an angled measurement from 10 m to approximately 1,100 m.
- 10x42 optical system: Combines 10x magnification, 42 mm objectives, HDC multilayer coating and a 110 m field of view at 1,000 m.
- Single and scan ranging: Choose an individual distance reading or use scan mode for repeated measurements, with a maximum measuring time of 0.3 seconds.
- Watertight aluminium housing: The nitrogen-filled housing is rated watertight to a depth of 5 m.
