Track Dogs from the Dashboard
Track your dogs and navigate from the same dashboard screen. The Garmin DriveTrack 72 receives tracking data from a compatible Garmin handheld and displays up to 20 dogs on its 6.95-inch touchscreen, including location, distance, direction and status. You can view individual dog tracks on the map or navigate towards its position while keeping the wider tracking picture in view.
The compatible handheld remains the source of the dog tracking data, with the DriveTrack 72 providing the larger in-vehicle display. It receives data from one compatible handheld at a time and can show dog track history and status information alongside your mapping.
Navigate On Road and Off Road
DriveTrack 72 also works as a full GPS navigator for getting to and around your destination. Preloaded street and topographical mapping, turn-by-turn directions, 3D terrain, TOPO map support and downloadable satellite imagery give you several ways to view the route and surrounding terrain.
Built-in Wi-Fi allows map and software updates without connecting the navigator to a computer and supports BirdsEye Direct satellite imagery downloads. Pair a compatible smartphone with the Garmin Drive app to add current weather information, smart notifications and traffic. The DriveTrack 72 also supports compatible Garmin backup cameras and Garmin PowerSwitch products for additional vehicle integration.
