Track and Train Through One Garmin System
The Alpha TT 25 combines dog tracking and remote training in one collar, so a compatible Garmin handheld can handle both jobs from the same system. A top-mounted high-sensitivity GPS and Galileo receiver determines your dog's position, while VHF transmission sends that location to the handheld from up to 14.5 km away with updates as frequent as every 2.5 seconds.
For training, the TT 25 supports 18 levels of continuous or momentary stimulation along with audible tone and vibration when paired with a handheld that supports training or control functions. This means the same collar used to follow your dog's position can also provide the supported training controls.
Battery Use That Adapts to Movement
Dynamic tracking changes the update rate according to your dog's movement rather than transmitting at the fastest rate continuously. With the included standard rechargeable battery pack, Garmin rates the collar for up to 68 hours in dynamic tracking mode. The battery pack is user-replaceable, and an optional extended battery pack increases the dynamic-mode runtime to up to 136 hours.
