Precision CNC machined in Italy using 42CrMo4 alloy steel, Gemini chokes offer exceptional durability, performance, and accuracy. Each choke undergoes strict quality control during all stages of manufacturing for optimal reliability.

Advanced Finishes for Long-Term Reliability

Each choke is treated with Gemini’s signature multi-stage process:

• Nickel-Plating (Niplate HV500) – Interior coating to reduce friction and prevent corrosion
• Chroming / Burnishing – External and internal protection
• DLC Coating (Diamond-Like Carbon) – Ultra-hard surface (2500–3000 Hv) with smooth, anti-stick properties and high abrasion resistance

Designed for Steel Shot Use

All Crio Plus chokes listed are rated for steel shot, clearly laser-marked for either “steel shot” or “only lead”, and comply with Banco Nazionale di Prova certification standards.

Materials

• 42CrMo4 Steel – Used in ~80% of Gemini chokes. Normalized to balance hardness (800–900 N/mm²), strength, and toughness. Finished with Nickel + DLC.
• 17-4 PH Stainless Steel – Used in thin-walled models. Heat-treated for 1300–1450 N/mm² hardness without deforming. No coating needed.
• Ti 6Al-4V (Grade 5 Titanium) – Lightweight with 900–1200 N/mm² hardness. Used in high-end sport shooting chokes. Finished with DLC coating.

Care Instructions

• Ensure firearm is unloaded before fitting or removing chokes
• Inspect for damage and clean threads before use
• Always tighten securely to prevent gas leaks
• For long-term storage, remove chokes, clean thoroughly, and apply high-temp grease before reinstallation
