Alexander Arms AAR-17 Tactical semi auto rifle in 17 HMR. Able to be purchased on an A-category firearms licence. 17 HMR is a very practical cartridge for pest control as it is flatter shooting and more powerful than the common 22 LR. Given a semi-auto capability paired with the fast ergonomics of the AR platform this will be a devastating rifle on the hunting field. 

Bill Alexander had a vision. As the top armourer for the UK, Bill had designed dozens of new firearms, small arms cartridges, and vehicle armor that has been battle-proven the world over. Yet, he wanted to go beyond that. He came to the US with a blank piece of paper and an imagination in overdrive. After years of design, testing and development, he combined the devastating firepower of his .50 caliber Beowulf cartridge with a masterfully engineered variation of the venerable AR-15 rifle also in 6.5 Grendel, now made in the popular 17 HMR varmint cartridge. Alexander Arms’ manufacturing facilities are located on the Radford Arsenal in the Southwest of Virginia.
