New, from the Japanese firm Shoei, the inert replica FG 42 Type 2 Fallschirmjägergewehr. This is a full-size working replica of the famous WWII German FG42 Type 2 assault rifle replica is made of metal with real wood Stock and forward hand stock. FG 42, known informally as the "late model" or "Model II". Characteristic of the late models was the bipod placement (hinged to the front of the barrel), forged receiver, wood buttstock and the changed pistol grip. Engineered like the original, and operates like the original: Working Bolt and trigger, removable magazine (magazine has no internal spring.)  Perfect for display, Fallschirmjäger reenactors, these are brand new and imported directly from the Shoei Factory in Japan.
