Measure Velocity Without Attaching to the Firearm
If projectile speed is the number you need, the Xero C1 Pro keeps the measurement setup compact and separate from the firearm. Its radar system measures supported projectile speeds from 30.5 to 1,524 m/s (100 to 5,000 fps), with profiles for rifles, pistols, bows, crossbows, air rifles, airsoft and other projectiles.
Because nothing attaches to the firearm, the unit does not affect zero or barrel harmonics. It also does not rely on muzzle blast to trigger a reading, so Garmin supports it with suppressed firearms and firearms fitted with muzzle brakes or compensators.
Keep Each Session Organised
The chronograph calculates string average, extreme spread and standard deviation, along with muzzle kinetic energy and power factor. Pair it with Garmin's ShotView app to save and review sessions, add shot and session notes, mark clean or cold-bore shots, and exclude individual shots from average and standard-deviation calculations.
The unit weighs 105.6 g without the tripod and uses an internal rechargeable battery rated for up to 2,000 shots or up to six hours. A 1/4-20 thread tripod is supplied.
