The Ruger American Rifle Generation II is an update to the American-made rifle that has been the benchmark for accuracy, durability, and performance in bolt-action rifles for over a decade. Designed with customer feedback in mind, the Ruger American Rifle Generation II is available in a variety of calibers and is sure to become the first choice for hunters and firearm enthusiasts. The most significant improvements to the Generation II rifle are the three-position tang safety and a more rigid and ergonomic stock that also accommodates a removable comb riser and length of pull spacer to improve sight alignment and adjust for different statures.

The Ruger American Generation II Ranch sports a Cobalt Cerakote finish and is fitted with a Flat Dark Earth stock with black splatter texture. A shorter 16" barrel makes these rifles lighter and more compact.

• Removing the installed spacer allows for length of pull to be adjusted from 13.75" to 12"
• Installed low comb improves sight alignment when using magnified optics but can be removed when utilizing low-mounted sights
• Medium contour barrel features deep spiral flutes that reduce weight at the muzzle end of the barrel to improve balance without sacrificing stiffness or accuracy
• The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel for smooth operation and the familiar three-lug design with 70° throw provides ample scope clearance
• Oversized bolt handle for positive bolt manipulation, with a threaded barrel for easy replacement
• Factory-installed, one-piece Picatinny scope base
