VIBRAM APPTRAIL DIVO

The VIBRAM® APPTRAIL DIVO sole features a modern self-cleaning profile. It proves to have exceptional characteristics especially on challenging terrain. The pronounced front part of the heel, which proves valid on descents, only consolidates the properties of the sole on any terrain.

Vibram

Very good Vibram rubber sole produced by the Italian company famous for its quality.

MIDSOLE

100% Polyurethane (PU)

Polyurethane (PU) is a soft plastic that has excellent shock-absorbing properties and is therefore mainly used for midsoles. Through the percentage of PU, the soles become lighter and more flexible in their function.

INNER SOLE

Approx. 50% Viscoelastic latex foam

Viscoelastic latex foam features a special polymer that gives it a particular shape memory. As soon as it senses body heat or pressure, the viscoelastic foam adapts perfectly to the contours, allowing for balanced weight distribution and less load on the foot.

Approx. 10% Mesh

Mesh fabric is made up of many small meshes, usually made of polyester or nylon, and from a technical point of view it forms a grid that is created by threads connected to each other. Thanks to the special manufacturing technique, this synthetic fibre fabric is particularly breathable, absorbs moisture, requires no special care, is fresh and creases little.

Approx. 40% Polyester

Polyester is a man-made plastic fiber that is made from petroleum. From a chemical point of view, it is a polymer that can be processed to obtain many other different materials. Thanks to its chemical flexibility, polyester is lightweight, dries quickly, does not shrink, and has high resistance to tears and chafing.

EXTERNAL MATERIAL

100% Nubuck leather

Nubuck leather is a type of top-grain leather in which the grain side is lightly sanded, resulting in a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather stands out for its long-lasting durability, robustness and open pores. Depending on the desired look, suede can be left untreated during the manufacturing process or oiled or waxed.

Shoes with a GORE-TEX membrane are waterproof, windproof and breathable.
