Detailed Viewing from Near to Far

The Trinovid HD 10x42 gives you 10x magnification while retaining a 113 m-wide field of view at 1000 m, making it easy to take in a broader scene while picking out finer detail at distance. Leica rates light transmission at 90% and designs the Trinovid optical system around strong contrast and natural colour reproduction.

At the other end of the viewing range, the approximately 1.6 m close-focus distance lets you move from distant observation to nearby subjects without changing optics. Leica NZ also specifies P40 phase-corrected roof prisms and fully multi-coated optics as part of the 10x42 optical system.

Rugged, Straightforward Handling

A magnesium-alloy chassis sits beneath the rubber armouring, giving the Trinovid HD a robust full-size binocular body with a grippy outer surface. Internal focusing is controlled through the central focus mechanism, while four-stop eyecup adjustment, +/-4 dioptre compensation and a 58-76 mm interpupillary range allow the binoculars to be adjusted for the individual user.

The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled, and Leica rates the binoculars as watertight to a depth of 4 m. At approximately 730 g, the Trinovid HD 10x42 retains a relatively compact 140 x 117 x 65 mm overall format.
