Range Without Leaving the View
The Xero L60i brings the range reading and the information around it into the same view. Its 7x magnification and 32 mm objective are paired with a full-colour, 960 x 540 graphic overlay that can display distance, location, mapping, navigation and ballistic information without switching to a separate screen.
In full sun, Garmin rates the laser for animals to 1,375 m, trees to 1,800 m and retroreflective targets to 5,000 m. Ranging accuracy is stated at +/-0.25 m to 1,000 m and +/-1.0 m beyond 1,000 m.
Mark It, Then Navigate to It
Laser Locate turns a range measurement into something you can navigate to. Using the measured distance together with the L60i's positioning and onboard sensors, it projects a GPS waypoint onto the ranged location. TopoActive mapping, a 3-axis compass, elevation profiles and an overhead position view can then help guide you towards that waypoint.
If the object is beyond a distance the laser can measure, Sensor Locate can project an estimated waypoint using the device's positioning, compass and mapping data. Visual Recall works in the other direction: if you move and lose sight of a previously marked location, on-screen guidance helps bring your view back towards it.
Integrated Ballistic Tools
The Xero L60i includes the Applied Ballistics Elite solver, accessed through the AB Quantum Garmin app for supported ballistic functions. Garmin also includes Xero archery ballistics and angle-compensated distance, giving the rangefinder dedicated tools for both shooting and archery applications rather than treating every measured distance the same way.
