Adjustable Bettinsoli comb in both blue or red colour configuration.
An example of a similar styled completed adjustable comb set-up is included in the 3rd image of the listing.
The comb is the top surface of the stock, and is the section of wood that makes contact with the underneath of a shooters cheekbone when a shotgun is correctly mounted. Making sure that the comb is in the correct position is arguably the most important part of fitting a shotgun. Positioning the comb accurately for both height and cast is critical in allowing the shooter to mount the gun correctly and to obtain the optimum shot placement. An adjustable comb certainly makes this process easier!
Upon purchase, these can be fitted to your firearm by our skilled master gun smith at no extra cost!
Using the first image as a visual reference, the thin base piece of the comb will be inletted into your stock, where you can use an alan key
to adjust your height requirements from the top of the 2 main posts. The thicker piece of the comb will be inletted under your comb (which will be newly cut out)
where 2 small holes will be made for the same alan key to make your cast adjustments (you can see these small holes in image 3)
