The Svörd Pig Sticker is made of Swedish high carbon tool steel with the blade is individually hardened and tempered using a unique heat-treatment process. Blade is hand ground with a water-cooled stone to produce a convex razor edge.  There are four elements in a Svörd knife that make them a peerless investment, that will provide years of trouble-free service:
