Shipping Info & Pricing

Firearms can only be sent to a non-rural licensed firearms dealer.

• Standard shipping is 50 for orders under 499 (over 499 is FREE)
• Firearms 50 to dealer - subject to Police Mail Order form and firearms licence
• Air rifles/Restricted air pistols 50 to dealer - subject to Police Mail Order form and ID

• Standard shipping is 20 minimum (up to 5kg - 5 per additional 5kg)
• Ammunition cannot be sent to rural addresses
• Ammunition orders are not eligible for free shipping
• A minimum 20 transfer fee applies if ammunition needs to be transferred to another store for collection

• Standard shipping is 60 for all orders

• Standard shipping is 25 for orders under 299
• Rural shipping is 35 for orders under 299

Due to the nature of these items, you will be requested to present valid photo ID via email.

A Police mail order form is required to send these items.

• Freight free to depots in main centres (same island warehouse availability dependant)
• Home delivery available - email for a freight quote
• Kerb-side delivery only - you will need to move the safe into your home yourself

• Standard shipping is 50, or free to your door if over 299 (non-rural only). 5 gun safes cannot be delivered rural.
• Rural shipping surcharge is at least 50 for 4 gun safes only (subject to delivery zone - we may contact you if the shipping quote is high)

• All dangerous goods have a flat rate 20 charge (items must be packaged in a box)
• Gun powder cannot be shipped - in-store pickup only (couriers no longer accept this product, including between our branches)
• Dangerous goods cannot be delivered to rural addresses - we can deliver to your local Toll depot for pickup

Some items on our website may show as supplier stock only. These items are ordered into our store directly after an online order is made. Delays can range from 1 to 2 weeks until we have the item ready to ship or available for store collection.

Not all items may be available for pickup immediately within your selected store. Please wait for an email from our Web Team before coming in to collect - we cannot guarantee your item/s will be ready.

International shipping rates depend on the destination country and the size and weight of items. An estimated price will be displayed after you confirm your order - we will then contact you to confirm the exact price.

• Restricted items (Silencers, Magazines, Bolts, etc.) require permits prior to sending
• Dangerous goods cannot be sent overseas (see Dangerous Goods section above)
• We do not have an international carrier that accepts firearms parts. A freight forwarding service can be used, but this is often very expensive due to terminal fees and itemised customs charges

For Australian customers we have two options available - you can use our Melbourne dealer solution below, or alternatively follow the standard international process if preferred.

We have a licensed dealer in Melbourne who facilitates 3 shipments per year to Australia. Costs are as follows:

• 750 AUD - shipping from us to the Melbourne dealer
• 10% GST on the invoice value (Australian requirement)
• If the firearm was purchased from Gun City and is over 1,000 in value - export licence is FREE
• If the firearm is under 1,000 in value - a 200 export licence fee applies

If you would prefer not to use the Melbourne dealer solution, the standard international process also applies to Australia. Please see the Shipping Guns & Accessories Internationally section above.

• Sending firearms-associated parts is an expensive process - approximately 600+ NZD for paperwork and shipping
• You will need to find a licensed importer willing to import for you (this is not always easy and they will charge for the service)
• Some guns and accessories (particularly silencers) are not permitted into certain countries, including rifles made in China and US-made guns given to foreign countries under the Lend-Lease Scheme
