The NV 500 Gen 2 Night Vision Monocular from Minox is a handheld optic designed for quick observations in low-light conditions. This second-generation night vision device has a built-in IR illuminator that enables the observer to see in complete darkness by flooding the field of view with infrared light that is invisible to the unaided human eye. The unmagnified optics and 8" close focusing make the NV 500 well-suited for close-range observations around the home or in the wild. An integrated tripod socket and extreme temperature tolerance equips the NV 500 with the features needed for recreational use outdoors.
