Decorated with a 24k gold-plated ring and a medallion, the matte black VX-1 3-9x40 Riflescope from Leupold is designed for short-to-medium-range shooting. The optical system features 3.2-8.8x actual magnification, Mulitcoat 4 multiple anti-glare coatings that reduce glare and enhance transmission, and a linear field of view range of 34.6-14.6' at 100 yd. To help you compensate for wind drift and ballistic bullet drop, the scope offers a 52 MOA windage and elevation adjustment range with a 1/4 MOA impact point correction.

Customized for fast target acquisitions on moving targets, the Wide Duplex Reticle is defined by a wider center gate , heavy posts, and a thin crosshair. Because of its location in the second focal plane, the reticle will remain the same in size as you change zoom factor.

The 6061-T6 aluminum housing is lightweight and durable, waterproof, and nitrogen-filled fogproof. It is compatible with 1" riflescope mounting rings. Another highlight is a lockable fast-focus eyepiece with a low profile tactile zoom lever that help you with an instant one-finger zoom adjustment.
