$51,000 - $56,000 (wage based on 40 hours per week)

 

Hi there!

We’re looking for an energetic full time Freight team member to join our amazing Christchurch team. You will be joining a great team of people where we will teach you everything you need to know. Gun City is a locally owned family business, New Zealand’s largest firearms dealer!

This great entry level position would ideally suit a young person looking to start their career. Members of our team who have started here have grown into different parts of the business including sales, senior freight, logistics, inwards goods and the web team.
 

What will you do in this role? Your role is to quickly and efficiently pick and dispatch items to our customers and other branches.

We are looking for a person with the below attributes and criteria:

 • Computer literate
 • Restricted or Full car license
 • Physically fit
 • Proven reliable and productive.
 • Self motivated and a team player
 • Clean criminal record
 • A can-do attitude

 

Helpful but not required:

 • Forklift experience (but a willingness to get)
 • Experience in order fulfilment/warehousing
 • Firearms licence (if not held, a willingness to get)

 

No firearms experience? No Problem. Bring a great attitude and willingness to learn! Some of our best staff came to us new to the sport. We will teach you all you need to know to fulfil the role.
