As a general guide it is recommended practice to replace strings and cables at the same time, especially if you’re replacing the string due to a Dry Fire, the only time we would recommend only replacing the string or cables separately is when your string or cables have come in contact with a sharp object that has partially cut through the material. it’s also recommend having the string and or cables fitted to your bow by a trained bow technician
