What does an Intermediate software developer do at Gun City?
You will be working in a creative team to help Gun City develop new I.T. based solutions for our growing NZ wide business. You will work with other Developers and department Managers to build and implement functional software solutions. You will do this with guidance from a Manager but be encouraged to work as independently as possible, due to your experience in the industry.

Responsibilities

 • Software development and technical support
 • Design clean, efficient code based on specifications
 • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
 • Gather and evaluate user feedback
 • Recommend and execute improvements
 • Continuously improve through feedback

 Requirements
 • Knowledge of PHP, C#, Java script, CSS and SQL would benefit the applicant.
 • Experience working with collaboration tool such as Jira, Source Tree etc
 • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
 • A Relevant Qualification – Certificate/ degree in information technology/ computer science.
 • Close attention to detail
 • Good time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
 • Great teamwork and communication skills
 • Standard work week applies however flexibility with nights is an advantage
