The Ranger 223 Push Button 'PB' rifle line provides a unique shooting experience. Thanks to it's popular and proven design namely in Australia and Canada, the push button gas-operated rifle provides very consistent and reliable cycling packed with all the features to take advantage of on a sporting rifle including a picatinny scope rail, detachable magazine, high vis sights, and a factory threaded barrel. Australian testing has demonstrated the Ranger PB in high-volume shooting scenarios, the rifle has proven it's reliability by firing over 600 rounds without a single stoppage, underscoring it's robust construction and dependable performance in the field. 

How does a push button rifle work?

After closing the bolt and pulling the trigger to fire the first round, the gas-driven system automatically ejects spent casings which leaves the bolt locked open. All it takes to chamber the next round is a push of a button, conveniently located on the tang of the receiver to enable the spring-assisted bolt to move forward smoothly and make the rifle ready to fire again upon trigger pull. The great safety feature about this action is to allow the shooter to safely keep their eye on the target without needing to drop the rifle to cycle the action.

The Tactical model features an M-LOK forend, which provides superior modularity to add a torch, laser or grip attachments, as well as improved heat dissipation from the barrel.
