Synonym for Solidity

The new 12-gauge M2 PRO is available in M2 PRO Black with a camouflage coating that ensures adequate camouflage in various hunting environments. This shotgun is designed to be extremely practical and handy. Although the minimalist and functional design is a distinctive feature, the M2 PRO does not fall short in terms of performance. The idea behind Benelli is to meet the practical needs of hunters without giving up the functionality.

Constructive Reliability

From the point of view of robustness, the M2 PRO also stands out for its solid structure, which increases its durability over time. The rotating bolt assembly, used in the shotgun, contributes to a better support between the breech of the barrel and the locking system, making everything more resistant to stress. The locking lugs are also much more robust than traditional systems. This contributes to a more fluid and faster repetition cycle, minimizing vibrations and impacts between the various components of the shotgun.

High Comfort

The new M2 PRO also stands out for the techno-polymer stock design, which has been renewed to improve ergonomics, for the maximization of comfort thanks to the introduction of the Progressive Comfort system that reduces recoil based on the type of cartridge used, ensuring a faster return to aim, even in subsequent shots and less physical impact for the shooter.

Functional Efficiency

The shotgun upper receiver has been optimized for further ease of use in the field. The M2 PRO has a wider ejection port and a revised loading eyelet, which makes it easier to insert the cartridges, even when wearing gloves. The main controls have been expanded and made more accessible, thus optimizing the efficiency and use of the shotgun. In addition, the cartridge stop lever has been improved to reduce the effort required in manual loading and unloading, while the optimized magazine spring ensures smoother operation. The barrels of the M2 PRO are made with a focus on quality and design. The barrels are equipped with Crio chokes and present precautions to prevent the breech from moving during the shot.

Trigger Quality

An additional step forward has been taken on the new M2 PRO in terms of the “quality” of the trigger, which ensures low load (2.0 kg as an average nominal value), sharp and regular while guaranteeing very high safety against accidental shots from falling. The components redesigned in the trigger group of the new M2 PRO are the trigger, characterized by a new blade (redesign necessary following the rotation of 2° of the entire guard with respect to the barrel axis), reduced stroke, new coupling profile with the safety and with the retaining spring; the hammer, characterized by a new coupling cam, a loop (which replaces the previous rotation hole) and, finally, a shorter distance between the hooking tooth and the safety tooth.
