Cold Steel Professional Competition Throwing Axe
Designed specifically for the seasoned axe thrower, the Cold Steel® Competition Throwing Hatchet features a hardened 1055 carbon steel head with a 4" blade, meeting axe throwing tournament requirements. The 16" American hickory handle offers exceptional balance during target practice sessions or serious competition. The head weight is 21oz and the overall weight is 31oz.
For those wanting the convenience of a quick-change handle our patent pending locking mechanism allows you to to change a worn or damaged handle by loosening two bolts, slipping out the worn handle and exchanging it for a new one. Now you can change your handle and be throwing again in under 2 minutes.
Please note that wood axe handles are not covered under the manufacturers warranty.
