The BUG-A-SALT REALTREE 3.0 is specifically tailored to the needs of the more serious fly hunter. Those who are fluent in gun handling will appreciate custom improvements such as cross-bolt safety, trigger redesign, and Patridge sight (not to be confused with the bird, the sight is named after the famous rifleman Patridge).

We are very proud of this new, lethal edition to our family. However, we must warn that instead of leaving flies whole for easy cleanup, it may splatter them. Lorenzo also assures the 3.0 model greatly increases odds for in-flight take down.

How Do You Load and Use a Bug-A-Salt 3.0 ?

Fill the salt hopper with ordinary table salt, pump the forearm grip to cock the spring, disengage the cross-bolt safety, aim using the sight, and pull the trigger. The improved hopper design allows for quick tactical reloads during use. The trigger is very light and responsive, so handle with care and keep away from children and pets.

What Type of Salt Works Best in the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 ?

Regular granulated table salt works best - the same salt used for cooking. Avoid coarse salts like rock salt or large sea salt crystals as they may jam the mechanism. Standard table salt is inexpensive and provides hundreds of shots per container. No specialty ammunition required.

Does the Bug-A-Salt 3.0 Require Maintenance ?
