It boasts a great quick release magazine along with the same push-feed bolt with dual-opposed locking lugs as other Howa 1500 rifles. With a combination of its short action and H.A.C.T trigger this Howa is equipped and designed to be lightweight and fast!

• MiniAction: The Howa MiniAction chamber and bolt are 12% more shorter than regular short actions for an even shorter bolt throw for faster reloads.
• 1 Piece bolt: A well-designed bolt that allows for easy removal for cleaning. The bolt also has locking lugs for a more solid and secure chambering when shooting. 
• Cold-forged Barrel: Cold-forged barrels are known for their longevity, durability and how consistently accurate they are. 
• Comfortable HTI stock: The HTI stock is a comfortable hold with its wide, flatter forend and molded in grips for a firm hold.
